Harbouring a passion for diamonds and a talent for design, Papu Butani came to Hong Kong from Mumbai as a young man in 1969. After years of devoted craftsmanship, the House of Butani was established in 1977.

In 1999, Papu and Lachmi Butani were joined by their twin sons Manoj and Mukesh. Having grown up watching their father’s devotion to the craft, they continue the family legacy with the same integrity and passion.
